	Overview
	The Freespace FPS project (That’s just a working title for now) is a modification for Red Faction that will allow players to explore an aspect of the Freespace universe that unfortunately was never part of the original games: Ground combat. The story will be revealed in greater detail at a later date, but right now we can tell you this much: The game will be set in the year 2329 (Year 8 of the Terran-Vasudan war) and you will be an officer in Galactic Terran Intelligence, carrying out assigned objectives and possibly discovering a few nasty secrets in the process that may or may not have a serious impact on humanity depending on your reaction. Check back here occasionally for more juicy tidbits.
